Add optional technology to drive with greater convenience and precision. Available Adaptive Cruise Control is meant for long-distance driving. The system has a safety feature that will decelerate if surrounding traffic slows down, but it wil not go over the predetermined speed that you set. If you don’t add Adaptive Cruise Control, then you can still have a standard cruise control system that makes highway driving more relaxing.
Advanced Safety
On the EX trims and higher, you will have the safety tech of Honda LaneWatch. This technology was designed to warn you when there is a vehicle in your blind spot. You will receive instant alerts, so you will merge into a lane at just the right time. The optional Lane Keeping Assist System will help prevent you from sneaking into another lane without a signal. This system reads road markings to monitor your position, and the optional Road Departure Mitigation system helps guide you back to safety.
A multi-angle rearview camera is standard on each trim level, and it gives you guidelines for parking assistance. The Daytime Running Lights are also standard on each trim level, so every Accord driver can enjoy enhanced safety any time of day. Optional Collision Mitigation Braking System is a feature that will automatically apply the brakes if a possible collision is detected.
